Both Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will continue in their now iconic roles of Jai Dixit and Ali.

The film will begin shooting end of this year and is slated for a 2012 Christmas release.

The movie goes doesn't contain any thing new, all the romance and comedy flow goes in between leaving a simple story with complex characters.

The only thing which is entertain you is the Punjabi- Bihari wedding.

and foul language by the actress (specially Kangana) which is becoming sort of fashion these days .

Movie reminds of some emotional scenes from DDLJ, RHTDM and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman etc.

The only thing of movie is its pace which goes to slow down after intermission upto end.

Now why to watch the movie ….well topic of movie is bit new (LOL….) that is what we all listen when any director or story writer promote the movie as different. If you are big fan of Madhavan you must watch it. Movie hold with Madhavan and Pappi (Deepak Dobriyal) playing his friend.Comic timing makes movie watchable.

And for Kangana have to say nothing new despite of plunging neck line and looks like she is in the movie for here drinking character (Kangana Plzzz don’t drink for every role) and she looks drunk will acting in some normal scenes.

The movie have some great comic moments but disappoint me as some comic scenes are not in the movie which were shown in the trailors (agar hote to itini bhi lambi nahi ho jaati movie yaar…) but movie may become more entertaining.

Songs are nice depending on the situation. But looks like some songs are not meant for some situation. You might have seen “ bina matala ke scene ho…but here bina matlab ke songs place kye gaye hai.

Songs which make pulse of enjoy high are Sadi Gali, Mannu Bhaiya.But the most entertaining song which is in movie for some seconds and then in the last when movie end is Jugni sung by Mika Singh

Here in the movie end we got Mika Singh (singer) on the dance with Jugni (K R and others) and after watching single song this I though of saying that the movie is Paisa Baasule.

Big news for developers out there:

Google has just announced the release of a new, open sourced programming language called Go. The company says that Go is experimental, and that it combines the performance and security benefits associated with using a compiled language like C++ with the speed of a dynamic language like Python. Go’s official mascot is Gordon the gopher, seen here.

Here’s how Google describes Go in its blog post:

Go attempts to combine the development speed of working in a dynamic language like Python with the performance and safety of a compiled language like C or C++. In our experiments with Go to date, typical builds feel instantaneous; even large binaries compile in just a few seconds. And the compiled code runs close to the speed of C. Go is designed to let you move fast.

We’re hoping Go turns out to be a great language for systems programming with support for multi-processing and a fresh and lightweight take on object-oriented design, with some cool features like true closures and reflection.

PTU exams postponed

Jalandhar, April 25

Punjab Technical University (PTU) today put off the examinations of all its regular classes for 10 days. The exams that were scheduled to commence from May 8 will now begin on May 18.

Even as officials claim that the examination could not be conducted in time because of the forthcoming Lok Sabha poll, principals of most of the colleges said it was simply a cover-up statement. They said the university had failed to deliver the results of most of the courses, including BBA, BCA, MBA, B Pharma, hotel management and I and III semester of B Tech in time. “The results of some of the streams of B Tech semester V, including computer engineering, is also pending, though the examination was over by mid-January,” they lamented.

The results that have been out include those of MCA, MBA (international business), M Pharma, B Tech semester VII and some parts of semester V. The college authorities said due to the late results of the odd semesters, the university could not conduct even the semester examinations timely.

“Students are still not clear whether they will have to reappear for any subject. If examinations are held as per schedule, they are left with less than a minimum stipulated period of 15 days to fill up forms and prepare for their reappear,” they explained.
They also blamed internal politics, mushrooming of colleges, increased student strength, understaffing and contractual system of employment for this inefficiency and poor examination system.

However, deputy registrar Jaspal Singh said, “The staff of our five government colleges is put on poll duty, and they are also to conduct the examination of their own colleges.” He denied any delay in the results. “We were told to compile all results by April 30 and we should be able to do that,” he claimed.

An official note by registrar Sarojini Gautam Sharda read that the revised schedule for the examination was available on the official website of PTU, www.ptu.ac.in.

Pak hackers plan attack on Indian cyber networks New Delhi, Jan 06: After the Mumbai terror strikes, anti-India elements in Pakistan are now planning an attack on Indian computer networks, intelligence agencies have warned.

Already Pakistani hackers are trying out a dry run against Indian networks through popular websites registered there after the Mumbai terror strikes, Home Ministry sources said here on Tuesday.

"Every time the relations between the two countries dampen, Pakistanis start attacking Indian computer networks and this has increased after the Mumbai terror attacks," a Home Ministry source said.

Pakistani hackers have created websites such as the www.songs.pk, which are infested with software to hack data from the targeted computers, it said.

"The website www.songs.pk has over 12 lakh Indian users who are downloading stuff from these websites daily," said a cyber expert in the Ministry.

With these websites being highly popular, it will take only a few minutes for the hackers to take command of over 12 lakh computers in few minutes and the number of such computers can multiply in every minute, sources said. "Instead of the existing less harmful virus, new ones such as Botnet and Zoombie can be easily released into the Indian computers, which later on replicate and make
the entire server vulnerable," the expert said.

"Now a days new virus and worms are detected while downloading songs from these websites, which could be just a dry run to manage a bigger attack," he said.

Government websites have been highly vulnerable to hacking and they have been intruded many times by the Pakistani hackers. "Most of the time, these cases are not reported as the server is based in Pakistan and we cannot do anything in this regard," the expert said.

The anti-virus software, too, cannot work in such situation as the virus used in such cyber wars are usually new and the anti-virus software cannot identity and detect it, he said. "If anti-virus software cannot identify the signature of the virus coming through Internet , it will not detect it and as a result the virus will be downloaded in the computer in spite of such software available in the network," the expert added.

Ban Orkut in India

Shiv Sena, a regional political party headquartered in Mumbai, is demanding that social-networking site Orkut be banned in India. The party is particularly irked by Orkut's hate communities on party leader Bal Thackeray and party idol Chhatrapati Shivaji.

The protests have turned violent in the last week. Shiv Sena activists vandalized some cybercafes in Mumbai and are pressurizing owners to ban access to the site.

However, Shiv Sena is now saying it does not want Orkut banned completely, but only wants the hate communities removed.

Orkut is hugely popular in India and is the top social-networking site in the country. According to this article, it has nearly 6.6 million registered Indian users out of a total of 49 million worldwide.

But the site is also finding itself involved in quite a few controversies, most of which are cases of obscene or defamatory fake profiles and hate communities.

In an apparently conciliatory move, Google has agreed to offer the Indian police a special tool for reporting of objectionable content and the IP addresses from which such content has been generated. But the police will still have to follow the legal process in order to get user-identifying information.

To mark the occasion, I checked in with David Nakayama, our group vice president of engineering, for some perspective on this milestone. In case that name doesn’t ring a bell, he’s the developer of RocketMail, one of the world’s first webmail products, which Yahoo! acquired and relaunched as Yahoo! Mail in 1997.

Dave reminisced: “I remember getting in a room to plan our RocketMail launch over a decade ago and worrying that our original plan of a 2MB quota wasn’t enough, and that we needed to be radical and DOUBLE the storage to 4MB per account! It’s ironic that I routinely send and receive individual mail attachments bigger than that now. Our total capacity for mail accounts back then was 200GB for all of our customers. Koushambi’s ill-fated end puts others on caution

The brutal murder of Koushambi Layek refuses to leave the mind. Her cheerful, vivacious and straightforward gaze from her picture on orkut seems to haunt many as we try to figure what exactly went wrong and why did she have to face such an ill-fated end.

MANISH THAKUR was arrested by the Police from a hotel room in Andheri. Was it a case of ‘crime of passion’ or was it the fake posturing over the net on Thakur’s part that lured Koushambi into such a deadly web, one from which she’d never come out.

Koushambi Layek, a 24-year old software professional working for TCS would have never expected that she could have ever faced such a brutal death.

Koushambi met Thakur, a navy officer, online two years back and the story goes like this. Manish, in spite of being married lured her to marry him. Koushambi had informed her family, but they advised her against it. Their relationship continued and the police suspect that he might have murdered her because she denied marrying him. Manish tried to convince her several times that he will divorce his wife to marry her. In fact, he had not informed her initially that he was married. Her body was found in a pool of blood in a hotel room in Andheri. They had checked in as Mr. and Mrs. Thakore on May 12. She had been killed on Sunday night and by Monday afternoon the hotel employees found her body. By then Manish had sneaked away.

Police confirmed that this murder was preplanned. This is because Manish was already carrying a chopper and a gun with him. They also suspect that he might have shot her in her sleep. The latest updates on CNN-IBN say that after shooting her (through a pillow to avoid noise of the gunshot! and he had also turned up the TV volume), Manish wanted to chop her into pieces. But, he couldn’t and stayed on for almost five hours drinking a whole bottle of whisky.

Now where does orkut come into picture: Both of them had their profiles on orkut!
Condolences are pouring into her scrapbook (http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=11725203022944506305) and some "great wishes" into his (http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=348385650417627297)! Using this site, the police tracked the killer at Vasco (in Goa).

I was shocked to see the testimonial written by a girl to her future killer:

Koushambi: Well, what to say about this guy... He is a really caring and loving guy... He is amazing, awesome and friendly. I need not describe him, as anyone close to him must surely be aware of his abilities. He is an all rounder.. Be it in the field of studies, sports or music. He is a champo...Don’t u think so???

According to her, he seemed to be intelligent - an all rounder - well his so-called intelligence killed her!

Why did he do this? She was the only financial support to her mom, who is a widow. The deadly roots from the net just squashed her life and a family’s hopes. When matrimonial sites make relationships online, we should be aware that there are so many deadly pits in the Internet where you can fall to never return. Can you imagine such an incident happening to your friend? Her friends are all in a shock - they can’t believe that she could get involved with such a Psycho!

This reminds me of another incident - One of the girls whom I know met a guy through the net - It all started with friendship and later after a year or two they started dating. They fell in love (that was expected), but before getting too involved she asked for a commitment. His reply was "Oh ! I can’t guarantee that I will marry you - you may have to wait for two years till my younger sister gets married. I can’t forget my sister’s marriage and start thinking about mine.” I couldn’t help thinking to myself: Okayyyyyyyyy!!! MR. PERFECT!!!! - your love for family is like"WOW," but where are u luring this girl to - just for time pass? Is she not a sister to her brother? What is this downtrodden mentality? [Lolakutty says: "Doodh ka doodh aur nariyal paani ka naariyal paani?"]

I dedicate this to all those who have got anonymous friends on the Internet. Next time you get involved with someone, at least be careful. Not all the prince charmings or drop dead gorgeous men are really worth it!

Orkut in news again and this time due to the tragic death of Koushambi Layek who was murdered by her lover Manish Thakur, with whom she had developed relations on orkut.com. This incident again points towards the hazards of social networking.

WHEN EVERY BIG business house is running a business of social networking website, orkut.com owned by Google continues to be in the centre of controversy for one wrong reason or another. This time Orkut finds itself in the midst of a murder mystery. The reason for murder is believed to be failed love which developed on Orkut.

This love story started in the AC three tier compartment. The accused Manish Thakur, a resident of Bashdroni in West Bengal, was on his way to Thiruvantapuram where he met Koushambi Layek who was on her way to the training centre of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The relation gradually evolved through scrapping on Orkut. After some time Koushambi discovered that Manish was married. Heartbroken she ended her relation with him, but was threatened by Manish again and again. Koushambi confided to her parents about the incidence and they tried to sort out the problem by talking with Manish.

Unfortunately the talks did not help and the police discovered her dead body in Mumbai’s Sun-a-Sheel hotel’s room number 202. After a thorough investigation it was found that Manish had killed her by his service revolver.

Manish, who works with the coast guard, has been arrested. Police sources confirm about taking him to Mumbai today.

Meanwhile Manish’s and Koushambi’s profiles have drawn thousands of visitors in the past two days on orkut. There has been a formation of two communities in the name ‘Tribute to Koushambi Layek’ and ‘Koushambi cry for Justice’. The number of registered members in these two communities is increasing rapidly. Many visitors are also visiting Manish’s profile to express strong reactions.

It perhaps will not be a very good idea to blame this social networking website. But this incident definitely shows the flipside of social networking on the Internet and the best thing one can do is be careful while using it in order to avoid unpleasant incidents and such mishaps.

NEW YORK: Despite being aware that the news of the Toilet Internet Service Provider was an April Fool joke, Google went on a search even in the toilets at its office here on fools day ।

The reason for the search engine doing a google was a ‘slithering’ problem: a three-foot pet python that was on the loose

Reports said the python, which a Google employee had brought to the office in the Chelsea neighborhood here, went missing on Sunday

The employee was reported to have said that he brought the snake office since he didn’t want to miss it

Googlers initially refused to believe the news of the missing snake, as they thought it was an April Fool joke
The snake, named Kaiser, was later found on Monday and returned to its owner

Google confirmed that the case of the missing snake was not an April Fool joke

"Kaiser was taken home by his owner and is no longer in the building," Google said in a statement.

On April 1, Google issued a fake pres release that announced two offering from the firm। One was a Toilet Internet Service Provider, which provided free in-home wireless broadband service connectivity via users' plumbing systems, and the second, a Gmail paper, a service where users of its Gmail e-mail service could get paper versions of their e-mail mailed to them।

Senior executives at Google Inc। launched their annual April Fools' Day prank Sunday, posting a link on the company's home page to a site offering consumers free high-speed wireless Internet through their home plumbing systems. Code-named "Dark Porcelain," Google said its "Toilet Internet Service Provider" (TiSP) works with Microsoft Corp.'s new Windows Vista operating system. But sorry — septic tanks are incompatible with the system's requirements.

The gag included a mock press release quoting Google co-founder and president Larry Page, a step-by-step online installation manual, and a scatological selection of Frequently Asked Questions। On some Google sites, the company's official logo — a multicolored "Google" that changes according to the season and on holidays — substituted a commode for the second "g."

"There's actually a thriving little underground community that's been studying this exact solution for a long time," Page said in the facetious statement। "And today our Toilet ISP team is pleased to be leading the way through the sewers, up out of your toilet and — splat — right onto your PC." Marissa Mayer, a Google vice president, called TiSP a "breakthrough product, particularly for those users who, like Larry himself, do much of their best thinking in the bathroom."

TiSP is the latest April Fools joke at the Mountain View, Calif।-based company, where hijinks pervade cubicles all year long. In blogs, Google employees joke about the recent injection of green dye into milk in the cafeteria, while another talks about zany underlings filling the vice president of engineering's office with sand.

Eric Raymond, a software developer in Malvern, Pa।, and author of the New Hacker's Dictionary, said TiSP nailed several important tenets of hacker humor. The concept of free wireless access parallels a legitimate, four-year deal between Google and EarthLink Inc. to provide free wireless Internet service throughout San Francisco starting in early 2008.

As part of the spoof, Google said TiSP would be offered in three speeds: Trickle, The No। 2, and Royal Flush. That's a reference to "Net Neutrality," a big political battle over tiered pricing that Google and other e-commerce companies are waging in Congress against cable and telephone companies.

PUNE: If alert-message chains and the buzz afloat are anything to go by, online networkings could be again the punching bag of critics.

The latest in orkut's saddlebag is a subtle trend where phony (and going by the content, semi-porny) Ids are being concocted by some malicious users. While bogus Ids are not a new sight for any orkuter, what's disturbing is that this time around, these shamsters are pasting photos of innocent orkut users.

Chain messages alerting friends and community members about this trend are sailing around since October. In one such 'post-it-porn-it' case, a female's photo was picked from her ID and pasted on another semi-porn ID of a fake girl who claimed the innocent female to be her elder sister.

Yahoo to offer unlimited e-mail storage
The decision to remove e-mail storage limits reflects the plunging cost of storage as new personal computers store up to a trillion bytes of data

SAN FRANCISCO: Yahoo Inc. plans to offer unlimited e-mail storage to its roughly quarter of a billion users, starting in May, it said on Tuesday.
The world's biggest e-mail service is scrapping its free e-mail storage limit of 1 gigabyte, or about a billion bytes of data, responding to explosive growth in attachment sizes as people share ever more photos, music and videos via e-mail.

Microsoft has a 2 gigabyte free e-mail storage limit, while Google caps its Gmail service at 2.8 gigabytes.
"We are giving them no reason to ever have to delete old e-mails," Yahoo co-founder David Filo said in a phone interview. "You can keep stuff forever."

Officials said the decision to remove e-mail storage limits reflects the plunging cost of storage as new personal computers store up to a trillion bytes of data and owners of 80-gigabyte iPods can carry 100 hours of video in their pockets.

By contrast, when Yahoo first introduced its e-mail service a little under a decade ago, it capped individual storage at 4 megabytes per user. At that time, an "ultra high-density" floppy disk for personal computers then held 144 megabytes.

"People should think about e-mail as something where they are archiving their lives," said Filo, who remains active in managing technical operations at the Sunnyvale, California, company and carries the honorific title of Chief Yahoo.

Starting in May, the changeover to unlimited storage should take a month, said John Kremer, vice president of Yahoo Mail.

"We have been closely monitoring average usage. We are comfortable that our users are far under 1 gig(abyte), on average," Kremer said by phone. "What we see are an increasing number of rich media files as consumers send more photos."

One caveat Yahoo makes is that the offer is for personal use and subject to guidelines against abuse that apply to Yahoo Mail. No one can build a business giving away unlimited storage to other consumers using Yahoo Mail, executives said.

Two countries -- China and Japan -- are excluded. "We will continue working with these markets on their storage plans," Kremer said in a statement. Yahoo is a minority owner with partner Softbank in Yahoo Japan Corp. and a part owner with Alibaba of the Yahoo business in China.

Filo said Yahoo is looking at lifting caps on storage for other services such as its Flickr photo-sharing service. "We are looking at those on a case-by-case basis," he said.

It's a far cry from when giving away 2 megabytes of data was considered a big deal, said David Nakayama, Yahoo's group vice president of engineering and developer of RocketMail, which Yahoo acquired and relaunched as Yahoo Mail in 1997.

In a posting to Yahoo's corporate blog, he said capacity when Yahoo Mail started was 200 gigabytes for all customers.

"I remember getting in a room to plan our RocketMail launch over a decade ago and worrying that our original plan of a 2 megabyte quota wasn't enough, and that we needed to be radical and DOUBLE the storage to 4 megabyte per account!" he wrote.

Ajmer, Khadims (servers) and devotees at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti have strongly objected to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif appearing at the shrine in a laced skirt which showed off more of her shapely legs than convention allowed.

A large of people who were offering their prayers at the shrine said that the actress should have come there in more appropriate attire, rather than in a western outfit that revealed her legs.

"The people who come here should stick to the rules maintained by devotees. This is how our progenies know about our age old traditions and customs that we follow. Violators should not enter here," said Syed Julfikar, a member of Khwaja Chisti's shrine.

"The people, irrespective of their status, should maintain the decorum of the place, which they are going to visit," said Abdul Bani, another member of the shrine.

Kaif had come to the shrine with another actor Rishi Kapoor to shoot for producer-director Vipul Shah's Bollywood flick Namaste London.

We live on a sphere of extremes and oddities. In fact it's not really a sphere, but it is a wild planet, mottled with deadly volcanoes, rattled by killer earthquakes, drenched in disastrous deluges. But do you know which were the worst?
Some of Earth's valleys dip below sea level. Mountains soar into thin air. Can you name the lowest spot? The tallest peak? Do you know how far it is to the center of the planet or what's there?

31. What is the largest canyon?
The Grand Canyon is billed as the world's largest canyon system. Its main branch is 277 miles (446 kilometers) long. But let's compare. Valles Marineris on Mars extends for about 3,000 miles (4,800 kilometers). If added it to a U.S. map, it would stretch from New York City to Los Angeles. In places this vast scar on the Martian surface is 5 miles (8 kilometers) deep.

32. What is the deepest canyon in the United States?
Over the eons, the Snake River dug Hell's Canyon along the Oregon-Idaho border. It is more than 8,000 feet (2.4 kilometers) deep. In contrast, the Grand Canyon is less than 6,000 feet deep -- a bit more than a mile.

33. Is Earth the largest rocky planet in the solar system?
Just barely! Earth's diameter at the equator is 7,926 miles (12,756 kilometers). Venus is 7,521 miles (12,104 kilometers) wide. Mercury and Mars, the other two inner rocky planets, are much smaller. Pluto is rocky, too, but it's comparatively tiny (and some say it is not a planet at all).

The majority occur along boundaries of the dozen or so major plates that more or less float on the surface of Earth. One of the most active plate boundaries where earthquakes and eruptions are frequent, for example, is around the massive Pacific Plate commonly referred to as the Pacific Ring of Fire. It fuels shaking and baking from Japan to Alaska to South America.

44. How hot are the planet's innards?
The temperature of Earth increases about 36 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius) for every kilometer (about 0.62 miles) you go down. Near the center, its thought to be at least 7,000 degrees Fahrenheit (3,870 Celsius).

45. What three countries have the greatest number of historically active volcanoes?
The top three countries are Indonesia, Japan, and the United States in descending order of activity.

46. How many people worldwide are at risk from volcanoes?
As of the year 2000, USGS scientists estimated that volcanoes posed a tangible risk to at least 500 million people. This is comparable to the entire population of the world at the beginning of the seventeenth century!

47. Which of the following sources stores the greatest volume of fresh water worldwide: lakes, streams or ground water?
Groundwater comprises a 30 times greater volume than all freshwater lakes, and more than 3,000 times what's in the world's streams and rivers at any given time. Groundwater is housed in natural underground aquifers, in which the water typically runs around and through the stone and other material.

48. Which earthquake was larger, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake or the 1964 Anchorage, Alaska, temblor?
The Anchorage earthquake had a magnitude of 9.2, whereas the San Francisco earthquake was a magnitude 7.8. This difference in magnitude equates to 125 times more energy being released in the 1964 quake and accounts for why the Anchorage earthquake was felt over an area of almost 500,000 square miles (1,295,000 square kilometers).

49. Which earthquake was more destructive in terms of loss of life and relative damage costs, the 1906 San Francisco earthquake or the 1964 Anchorage earthquake?
The 1906 San Francisco earthquake tops this category. It was responsible for 700 deaths versus 114 from the Anchorage earthquake. Property damage in San Francisco was also greater in relative terms due to the destructive fires that destroyed mostly wooden structures of the time.

50. Is Earth's core solid?
The inner portion of the core is thought to be solid. But the outer portion of the core appears molten. We've never been there though, so scientists aren't sure of the exact composition. A radical Hollywood-like idea was recently put forth to blow a crack in the planet and send a probe down there to learn more. An interesting bit of recent evidence shows Mars' core may be similarly squishy. Scientists figured this out by studying tides on Mars ( tides on Mars? ).

51. Does all of Earth spin at the same rate?
The solid inner core -- a mass of iron comparable to the size of the Moon -- spins faster than the outer portion of the iron core, which is liquid. A study in 1996 showed that over the previous century, the extra speed caused the inner core to gain a quarter-turn on the planet as a whole. So the inner core makes a complete revolution with respect to the rest of Earth in about 400 years. Immense pressure keeps it solid.

52. How many people have been killed by volcanoes during the last 500 years?
At least 300,000. Between 1980 and 1990, volcanic activity killed at least 26,000 people.

53. How much of the Earth's surface consists of volcanic rock?
Scientists estimate that more than three-quarters of Earth's surface is of volcanic origin-- that is, rocks either erupted by volcanoes or molten rock that cooled below ground and has subsequently been exposed at the surface. Most of Earth's volcanic rocks are found on the sea floor.

54. Can an earthquake cause a tsunami?
If the earthquake originates under the ocean, yes. Near the earthquake's epicenter, the sea floor rises and falls, pushing all the water above it up and down. Upon nearing the shore, it is forced up and can reach the height of tall buildings.
